The CT casinos give better odds and perks, disappointing Encore has not been a better place for the locals.
The hotel is nice which is good because you'll spend a lot of time in the room once the slots bleed you dry. When I asked about a replacement, I was told I was not eligible and was encouraged by the casino staff to raise my wagering to over $6000 a visit to qualify, double my average that I thought was high already! Just this last month they cut back on perks again by limiting free play days for loyal customers. Last summer I received a casino host who never answered emails or calls and it now appears he has been canned. Never had this problem before the pandemic closure, seems there is a cash grab now that people are anxious to get back out. Slots are now beyond tight and all are expensive, that combination will break the bank in a half hour and leave you regretting your visit.
I'm a very regular slots player at Encore and I have to say this place gets worse everytime I go.
